How Mail-In Repair Works — Step by Step
Step 1 — Contact Us First
Call us at (310) 743-6000 or visit our contact page to describe your device and the issue. We confirm we service your device, verify parts availability, and give you an upfront estimate before you ship anything. Do not ship without contacting us first.
Step 2 — We Send You a Free Shipping Label
Once we have confirmed the repair, we email you a prepaid shipping label at no cost to you. No need to figure out shipping costs or find the right box — we take care of it.
Step 3 — Pack Your Device Safely
Power your device off completely before packing. Wrap it securely in bubble wrap or soft padding and place it in a sturdy box. Remove any cases or accessories — ship the device only. If you need guidance on packing safely, call us and we will walk you through it before you ship.
Step 4 — We Diagnose and Repair
Once your device arrives at our West LA shop, Gregory diagnoses it and contacts you to confirm the final repair cost before starting any work. Most repairs are completed within 1 to 3 business days of receipt depending on parts availability. We keep you updated throughout — you are never left wondering what is happening with your device.
Step 5 — We Ship It Back
Once the repair is complete and payment is confirmed, we carefully pack your device and ship it back to you promptly. Payment is accepted via Zelle or major credit card. Your repaired device comes back covered by the same lifetime warranty as every in-shop repair we do.

Common Questions About Mail-In Repair
Do I need to contact you before I ship?
Yes — always contact us before shipping. We need to confirm we service your device, verify parts availability, and arrange the prepaid shipping label. Do not ship without speaking to us first. Call (310) 743-6000 or use our contact page.
How long will my mail-in repair take?
Most repairs are completed within 1 to 3 business days of receiving your device. Complex repairs like water damage or data recovery may take longer — we give you an honest timeline before we start anything.
Is mail-in repair safe?
Yes. We handle shipped devices with the same care as walk-in repairs. We recommend using the prepaid label we provide and packing your device carefully in a padded box. We document the condition of your device when it arrives. Every mail-in repair comes with the same lifetime warranty as our in-shop repairs.
How do I pay for a mail-in repair?
Payment is accepted via Zelle or major credit card. Payment is confirmed before we ship your device back. You will never be charged more than the estimate we give you upfront — if the diagnosis reveals something different, we contact you before doing any additional work.
What if you can’t fix my device?
If we cannot fix it or the repair does not make financial sense, we tell you honestly — no charge for the diagnosis. We ship your device back to you at our cost.
Can I track my device during the repair?
Yes. We provide tracking for both inbound and return shipments. You can also call or text us at (310) 743-6000 at any time for a status update — Gregory answers directly.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we accept mail-in repairs from within the United States only. The free prepaid label covers domestic shipping. For international inquiries contact us directly to discuss options.
