Some questions you may ask yourself when trying to find the best iPhone repair shop:

  1. Do they have years of experience?

  2. Can they fix my phone right away or am I going to have to wait weeks?

  3. What is their pricing structure?

  4. What quality of parts are they using?

Here are some answers to those questions

Experience

uBrokeiT iPhone repair & iPad repair was founded in 2011. We have been serving the Los Angeles and Westside community for over 10 years. Specializing in Apple mobile devices, uBrokeiT has repaired well over 10,000 devices to date.

Repair Time

While walk-ins are always appreciated, uBrokeiT likes to operate by appointment. This allows the tech the allotted time to repair your device. Most iPhones are repaired in less than 15 minutes and most iPads are repaired in 30 minutes.

Pricing

We make it our mission to offer the most competitive prices in Los Angeles. With some iPhone models, we offer 2 pricing options (standard/premium). uBrokeiT is unique in that it operates from an office rather than a store-front. This allows uBrokeiT to offer the best iPhone repair prices around!

Quality

What most people don’t know is that there are many manufacturers in China that all duplicate what Apple makes - some duplicate much better than others. When a repair shop finds a reputable manufacturer they then have different quality parts to choose from. uBrokeiT strictly uses only the highest quality that is available and refuses to use anything less.

If you’re looking for a reliable iPhone repair shop, call us today. We have years of experience in fixing Apple devices and can help you with your iPhone repair and iPad repair needs. Contact our team today to schedule an appointment or get more information on how we can help!

Did I Break my Glass or LCD/OLED on my iPhone

YIKES…you just dropped your shiny and very expensive iPhone

Usually, the first question we all ask is “How much is this going to cost me to fix’? The answer to that question usually depends on 2 things

  • Is the glass broken?

  • is the LCD broken?

There are essentially three layers that exist on your phone:

  • THE GLASS- this is the top layer of your phone and what the user is always in contact with. The glass layer is normally very durable and is built to withstand occasional drops or mishaps. This layer’s function is simple- it is there to protect your iPhone’s other layers.

  • THE DIGITIZER- The function of this layer is touch response. It is what allows the user to type, scroll, or move in and out of apps. If the iPhone screen is frozen, the keyboard won’t work, or the iPhone has a mind of its own, then the digitizer has been damaged.

  • THE LCD or OLED- this layer is responsible for the image on your screen. If it breaks you might notice odd colors, lines, black marks or blotches, or not see any image at all.

Once you have identified the issue with your phone after the drop there is only one more thing to figure out.

What model iPhone do I have?

There are a few ways to figure out the model of your iPhone

  • Go into settings/ general/ about and look under the model name

  • On the back of iPhones without glass on the back (iPhone 7 plus and older) there will be a printed model number in very small print starting with “A”

  • Look at the original box that came with your APPLE device
